About This Training

Conversations that Build Belonging turns everyday communication into a tool for trust. Across a single interactive session, staff learned the WHY WHAT HOW framework for naming their emotions, stating their needs clearly, and choosing a tone that lands well, even in high pressure moments. The result is a team that can address hard things directly while keeping relationships intact.

What Participants Learned

  • Know your WHY. Identify the emotion underneath before responding in a charged moment.
  • Name the WHAT. State a need, expectation, or observation clearly and without blame.
  • Choose the HOW. Use tone and delivery so the message is received the way it was meant.
